In last week’s newsletter, you heard Donald Fagen’s appearance on Desert Island Discs, an American version of the enduring BBC Radio program. This time Jeff “Skunk” Baxter plays castaway, selecting songs he’d want to have with him if he were stranded. Unlike Fagen, who limited his picks to the 1970s, the former Steely Dan guitarist turned (yeesh) U.S. defense consultant took the opportunity to highlight tracks released between 1966 and ’80, including a couple of his own collaborations.
